Granny Poets

We just saw an interview with these wonderful Texas genteel LADIES on RFD-TV. I cried. What a blessing they are for their families. They reminded me of my mother and grandmother. I ordered their book, and I know I will probably cry and laugh through it also. They were just soooooo cute when they sang. BEAUTIFUL voices and harmonies too. Even though I am a stranger, I felt after the interview that I had met and gained two wonderful friends. Please give them my love - even though they have no idea who I am. God's blessings on them and their families.

just want to tell you how much I enjoyed your book. I felt like a long lost cousin as I read all your poems. I found myself gulping, smiling, thinking back on my boyhood, and feeling prideful. God has given you and Dot such a blessing. Proud to say I met you and Dot.

You will be delighted to read their words. You will laugh, smile, and sometimes cry as you are touched by the hearts of love. Enjoy and share with others. The twins have been given a very special gift of spirit. You will enjoy the experience.

I think that the web page is fantastic. I love the way everything is laid out to where you Can find what you are looking for. About the book. I lied I cried is probably one of the most powerful poems I have ever read. I can feel the pain in the mothers heart. My son told me one time not to cry that he was Alright. When I saw him he was covered in blood and dirt. All he keep saying was I’m ok momma Don’t cry. The stories in this book are stories we heard all our lives growing up. But some We had never heard. I believe my mother and Aunt are the strongest people I know. I am truly Proud of both of them. And thankful for giving me and my children this gift from the past. To be Carried on into the future… bravo…..and God Bless You Both….. Bobbi and Wayne

I have had the pleasure of reading this book. I borrowed it from my neighbor, Bobbi Pratt. It was very touching in many areas. I can relate to much of it from my days of growing up.
